What A Trampler Does

In SAND Raiders of Sophie, a Trampler functions as a walking mobile base. It supports travel, storage, defense, and recovery during raids. Your Trampler is part of your survival plan, not just a vehicle.

Start With Function

Early Trampler planning should focus on basic function. You need to understand how your build handles movement, item storage, crew access, and pressure before making complicated changes.

A safe planning order is:

• Make the layout easy to understand.
• Keep important areas reachable.
• Avoid adding systems you cannot support yet.
• Test changes before relying on them in a risky raid.

Raid Preparation

Before deploying, check what your Trampler is meant to help you do. If your goal is scouting, keep the plan light. If your goal is learning combat pressure, expect more risk. If your goal is bringing items back, leave room for safe inventory decisions.

Crew Communication

In a group, agree on roles before the raid starts. Decide who watches movement, who handles repairs or support tasks, and who makes the call to leave. Clear communication is safer than a complicated layout.
